It will finally start on 24th August - the run of the tiny town racers on the 'Europa-Sportregion Zell am See-Kaprun'. Thousands of smart drivers from all over Europe are meeting right in the middle of Pinzgau for the common and complete enjoyment of the unique smart feeling and, of course, the holiday atmosphere of the 'Europa-Sportregion'. A steel-blue lake, snow-covered mountain tops, luxury hotels, and first-class guest service: Unaffordable? By no means! The journey to Zell am See can be quite good value for money for all smarties. Together with the organizers of the smart times, the region has started up many attractive holiday specials.

'Smile, please': the new smart smile programme makes the corners of your mouth lift all by themselves. Everyone who arrives in one of the town racers from the house of DaimlerChrysler can look forward to enjoying hefty discounts with the select partners of the smart times. On Grossglockner, Austria's highest mountain, for example, a day-ticket for one of the most famous Alpine roads is only 18 euros. Simply show the keys of your smart when purchasing the exclusive special ticket and save ten euros just like that.

A drive to the Alpine mountains is not the only occasion for a relaxed smile these days. You will also feel inclined to it when going in search of cooling in the crystal clear waters of Lake Zell on a hot August day: bathing at the lido in Zell, the gateway to the fresh waters, is fully free for smart drivers for three days. The same applies to the lidos of Thumersbach and Seespitz. Simply take out your keys and dive head first into the bathing Mecca between Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe. Giant slides, diving platforms, and water ski courses - all that is included. And what about parking one's car? No problem: there is free parking for these tiny cars on the site of the Ferry Porsche Congress Center, only newly opened in August. It is your key that does it!

Three days of smart times, that also means three days' bed and board in one of the largest tourism centres in Austria. But no matter whether you opt for a hotel, a guest house, or an apartment: the package deals of the 'Europa-Sportregion' make your stay an experience at a favourable price. The 'Hiking & Swimming' ticket is especially interesting for the visitors of the smart times. Until the end of September seven-nights stays at the accommodation of your choice are offered at a special price. The package also includes free travel on the cable cars and buses of Zell am See and Kaprun as well as guided hikes on Schmittenhöhe and the impressive panorama hike on the glacier of Kitzsteinhorn.
