The Amazing Fall Season...
Most of us feel the need to make some changes in our homes decor during the cooler months and Fall is the most colorful season of all, displaying a wide array of the most warm and inviting colors that speak coziness to our spirits.
The key to making "seasonal" changes to our decor is to keep a running list of the items we use often. Items that can be easily stored away when the season ends. Think of items that you use each day in your home and take inventory. Things that can be easily changed out, such as, comforters and throws. Pillows for the sofa and chairs. Lamp shades and area rugs. Dinnerware, platters and table cloths. Floral arrangements should be fresh and always use what is in season.
Add new towels to the bath along with scented candles in nutmeg or pumpkin. Bring out your large wooden bowls and baskets to store the seasons fruits and garden vegetables. Purchase a new sofa cover in a warm earth-tone fabric.
When decorating your home for Fall or for any season, look around at what nature has to offer in terms of color then infuse them into your interior decor.
The soft glow of golden sunlight. The cool evening breeze. The majestic leaves that fall continuously from the branches. The warmth of the fire and a good book. They all are the blessings of such a wonderful and colorful season. Enjoy both the outdoors and indoors to the fullest as the season will soon glide into the next before you know it!
