For Max and Virginia, dreams of their young lives came true | Switch on Sat.1: television host Kai Pflaume presents one episode in Zell am See-KaprunKategorie: Travel & Holidays Veröffentlicht von: knoefler-journalist . media + communications GmbH
It has always been Max' biggest dream to ignite a really huge firework - with many sparkling colours, a real racket and beautiful patterns in the sky. And little Virginia has a wish as well: she would love to take a ride in one of those glaring red fire-fighting vehicles and give a helping hand when sparks are flying high. Thanks to the German TV station Sat.1, the dreams of the two children came true in Zell am See-Kaprun!
The two children stood flabbergasted when Max' firework, which he had created all by himself, illuminated the sky of one of Europe's most popular holiday regions in various colours and Virginia extinguished flames bursting out of a car. Always at their sides: Germany's television star and favourite host, Kai Pflaume. For his show 'Täume werden wahr' ('Dreams are coming true'), he had surprised Max during his holidays in Zell am See. Virginia, too, was staying in the region with her family when the German celebrity paid her a surprise visit.
On site, everything was ready and set for the 7-year-old boy to meet experienced pyrotechnicians who would tell him everything about fireworks. With eyes wide open, Max carefully observed every movement of the pros and could decide for himself how and when he wanted the sparkling lights to illuminate the sky. Kai Pflaume and his young guest chose the most beautiful and impressive place in the region as a location to ignite the fireworks: they rose into the sky right from the centre of Lake Zell. Virginia also went for a ride on the radiantly blue lake - in a boat of the fire-brigade. She accompanied the men of the station on their missions, took a ride in the large fire-fighting vehicle and was present when the men practised the recovery of casualties.
Max and Virginia are two of many children who see a dream of their young lives come true in Kai Pflaume's show. Since April 2007 the television host has been travelling around Germany with 'Träume werden wahr'. It is no coincidence that he chose the region of Zell am See-Kaprun as the location for his latest episode. The 40-year-old has already successfully shot other shows between Kitzsteinhorn and Schmittenhöhe, as e.g. the viewers' favourite 'Nur die Liebe zählt' ('Love is all that counts').
He likes to spend time in Zell am See and Kaprun, says Pflaume. Not only is the region a perfect location for shooting shows, but he also enjoys spending his leisure time on the shores of Lake Zell and has already come here several times for his winter holidays. When the team of 'Träume werden wahr' was looking for a location to shoot this episode, the decision came easily. Pflaume knows his way around in the region and can trust in its support.
This cooperation made Max' and Virginia's dreams come true. On 23rd September at 7.15 p.m. millions of television viewers will switch on Sat.1 and curiously follow them on their adventures.
