Dried Roses - Introduction
Even me, who had always considered myself to be particular careful and alert wasn’t able to avoid meeting a man, that threw me into a fierce whirl of love and passion, fear and pain, adventure and lust, anger and annoyance. During that period of time, I wasn’t always in control of myself, wandered the thin line between reason and self-distruction, almost fell down and was finally lucky enough to get hold of what was really dear to me: Myself.
But I have no regrets. How could I ever! That man showed me sights, I had never ever considered to exist. I learnt a lot about myself, my hidden feelings, my desire for adventure, my greed for the unknown – and one thing which can only be created by love: hope.
I had to write down, what I had experienced. A good friend of mine suggested keeping a diary about those days, what I did. In the beginning, it was difficult to recall all of the events, but later on I was able to write it down the way it had been. Event though it was very painful, it helped me to digest my broken relationship.
On the following pages, I will tell the story about that encounter with all its ups and downs, which were characteristic for this relationship. For a long time, it has been my whish to publish these drastic experiences. May you, reader or person affected by similar events, take fresh heart and power.

| Der Autor Bernhard Kramer wurde am 24.03.1961 in Marthalen geboren und lebt heute in Regensdorf bei Zürich. Nach Abschluss der Schule erlernte er einen Beruf in der Baubranche. Mit ungefähr 30 Jahren widmete er sich intensiver der Malerei und stellte in den folgenden Jahren seine Werke in zahlreichen Ausstellungen aus. Neben der Malerei ist er heute auch als Webdesigner erfolgreich.
2005 schrieb er sein erstes Buch „Getrocknete Rosen“, nach eigenen Erlebnissen zwischen Genuss und Verdruss. |
